Hi, I have never asked for anything in my life but this is not for me.  I have a daughter and two grandchildren that are in desperate need of help.  My daughter is living with her husband. He has served her with divorce papers and refuses to move out of the house. My daughter is on disability for severe depression and her son has a form of Autuism.  As long as her husband is living there, he does not have to help her financially and she is struggling. Her lease is up on her car in a couple of weeks, she has no money to move out with the kids, and as long as her husband is paying the mortgage, he does not have to contribute to the other bills since all the utilities and other household bills were in her name from when they first moved in.  She has about $2000 that she gets every month to pay all these bills, pay for the kids clothes, food, gas for the car, doctors, and medicines for her and the kids.  We have checked with the attorney and as per the law, he is within his right not to give her anymore money as long as he lives there and pays the mortgage. Her husband refuses to help her get a car which she needs to take the kids to doctors, school activities, stores, etc.  No bank will give her a loan for a car because she has no money in the bank except the monthly disability check.  My husband and I are retired and living on pension and social security.  We can not at this point give her the money she needs to get on her feet.  I have an 88 yr old mother living with us in a rancher or I would move my daughter and grandchildren in with us.  I do not know what to do to help her and I am afraid that as this gets worse (as it is quickly doing) she will go into a much deeper depression.  Her husband brings home (keeps for himself) about $7000 a month which he is using to pay for college classes  he just decided to take and what ever else he feels he needs with no concern for them. We have tried to talk to him and he just ignores us. It is so unfair that Moms who stay at home and depend on their husbands can fall into this sort of problem when the marriage goes sour.  I promise that if I can get help for them, when I can I will pay forward and help someone else as best as I can.  If you can help, please write to me at my email address.
